Early on Saturday morning, December 12, a teen was killed in a single vehicle accident in Mobile County.
According to Alabama State Troopers, the accident happened shortly before 2.30 in the morning on Coy Smith Highway west of Red Fox Road and about five miles west of Mount Vernon.
A 2008 Nissan Altima, being driven by 23 year old Thaddeus Caster of Citronelle left the roadway and overturned. Caster was ejected from the vehicle and was injured and transported to hospital, where his current condition is unknown. His passenger, 18 year old Donald Coleman, also of Citronelle and who was partially ejected, was killed.
According to troopers both of the men were not wearing seat belts and the accident is still under investigation. So far no citations have been issued.
